Deep Gold behind the scenes

As our new film "Tears from Afar" begins many of our behind the scenes sequences for the DVD release of "Deep Gold" are being edited together by Behind-the-scenes producer Sujay Duhake. In the sequence above, the crew discusses complexities involved with shooting actress Bebe Pham in an underwater air pocket and simulating a plane sunk deep beneath the sea.
Shooting underwater is a seemingly simple task in which Murphy's law is the only law. In an average scene where 2 talent are under the water, usually 2 safety divers and an underwater camera are hiding just out of frame. The Red camera has its own housing for shooting below the surface and the dive tank about Bigfoot Entertainment is equipped to enable (dry) shooting through its windows.
